Brač Island – Škrip – Blaca Desert – Vidova gora – Bol

Islands of the Adriatic sea are each specifically picturesque and beautiful. One of these islands, which is located in central Dalmatia is called Brač. It can be reached by ferry from the port of Split. In past times, links between the island and mainland were poor and ships (galleys) took too many hours.

Today, that has all changed with fast and modern vessels which established an invigorating pace of life among the inhabitants of the island and the mainland. Island residents rarely came ashore, only once or twice a year for buying supplies or extended travel through the land. Island’s residents have many benefits; untouched nature, vegetable gardens, vineyards or olive groves… While visiting the island, you will have the opportunity to discover its hidden beauty. Island of Brač is paradise during summer. Sirena travel agency will show you parts of its cultural and historical heritage such as Škrip – center of the whole historical heritage of Brac island. After visiting this 3000 years old village, we continue our tour towards Blaca desert, a unique hidden monastery from the 16th century. You can enjoy a special local treat for lunch – peka in Humac Donji village. Vidova gora is the highest peak of the island with an unforgettable stunning view over the islands. It is also the highest peak of all Adriatic islands. If the weather is clear you can see Italy. Bol – one of the most visited Croatian tourist destinations. This is thanks to the world famous beach Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) – the cape whose peak shifts at low and high tides.
