Our Lady’s message is a message of peace, therefore the shrine is called the Sanctuary of the Queen of Peace with the center in St. James church. It is compared with Lourdes and Fatimah. We gather at the Sirena Travel Agency (Dioklecijanova 1 str.) early in the morning. Driving in a comfortable vehicle along the Dalmatian coast we arrive at the Makarska Riviera and stop at the first Sanctuary Vepric. Vepric was founded in 1908 and it contains a cave with a sculpture of Our Lady of Lourdes, a chapel and an open altar. After Vepric we continue our journey via Biokovo mountain and Vrgorac to the second Sanctuary of Medjugorje. Upon arrival, we climb up the Apparition Hill, after which we have free time for lunch and shopping. Later we visit the church of St. Jacob, and after mass we depart from Medugorje in the afternoon hours.
